Make the Lemonade Base
In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the water and mix well.

Mix with Soda Water
In a glass, fill it halfway with the lemonade base. Top off with soda water to your desired level of fizziness. Stir gently to combine.

Serve
Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
