Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by chopping the bacon into small pieces, and slice the mushrooms and green onions. Set aside the kimchi and broccoli florets.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large wok or frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and let it drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pan with bacon fat, add the chopped mushrooms and broccoli florets. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Add Kimchi and Rice

Stir in the kimchi and cooked rice, mixing thoroughly to combine all ingredients. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the rice to fry slightly and absorb the flavors.

  5. 5

    Add Seasoning

Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to ensure even distribution of flavors.

  6. 6

    Scramble the Eggs

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Push the rice mixture to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix them into the rice.

  7. 7

    Finish and Serve

Add the cooked bacon and sliced green onions to the fried rice. Stir everything together and cook for another minute. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
