Fish and Sauce

Tortillas and Toppings

Method

Preparing the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Mahi Mahi

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Lava hot sauce. Add the mahi mahi filets to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the mahi mahi from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 3

    Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

Slice the avocado, tomato, and onion. Tear the bibb lettuce into smaller pieces.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a piece of grilled mahi mahi, followed by avocado slices, pickled jalapenos, bibb lettuce, tomato, and onion. Optionally, you can add extra Lava hot sauce if desired.

  4. 6

    Serve

Serve the assembled tacos on brioche buns or as is, and enjoy your spicy fish tacos!
