Frying the Shrimp

Prepare the Breading
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk to distribute evenly.

Coat the Shrimp
Dunk each shrimp into the wet mixture first, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Shrimp
Fry the shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Assembling the Tacos

Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the corn tortillas on a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.

On each tortilla, place a layer of shredded lettuce followed by the fried shrimp.

Top the shrimp with pico de gallo, sliced bell peppers, and sliced onions.
