Buffalo Sauce
Method
Cauliflower Wings
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Gradually whisk in the water until you form a smooth batter.
- 3
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Let any excess batter drip off.
- 4
Bake the Cauliflower
Place the coated cauliflower florets on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Buffalo Sauce
- 5
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Whisk until well combined and heated through.
- 6
Toss the Wings
Once the cauliflower is baked, remove it from the oven and place it in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss until evenly coated.
Serving
- 7
Serve
Transfer the buffalo cauliflower wings to a serving platter and enjoy hot. Optionally serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
