Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté the Ground Beef

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break it into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Add Seasonings

Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper over the beef. Stir to combine, and let it cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Spinach

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Cheese Mixture

  1. 4

    Add Cream Cheese

Lower the heat to medium and add the cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until melted and well combined with the beef and spinach.

  2. 5

    Mix in Cheddar Cheese

Gradually add the cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

  3. 6

    Add Milk

Pour in the milk to achieve the desired consistency. Stir until fully incorporated.

  4. 7

    Optional Jalapeños

If using, stir in the jalapeños for an extra kick.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Hot

Once everything is melted and combined, remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy with tortilla chips or vegetables for dipping.
