Method
Brisket Preparation
- 1
Season the Brisket
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Rub this spice mix all over the beef brisket.
- 2
Prepare the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Ensure you have enough wood chips ready for smoking.
- 3
Smoke the Brisket
Place the seasoned brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).
- 4
Rest the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- 5
Slice the Brisket
Slice the brisket against the grain into thin strips.
- 6
Prepare the Brisket Sauce
In a saucepan, combine beef broth and apple cider vinegar. Heat until warmed through and set aside.
Taco Assembly
- 7
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 8
Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, place a generous portion of sliced brisket. Drizzle with the brisket sauce.
- 9
Add Toppings
Top with fresh cilantro, sliced radishes, and a dollop of sour cream.
- 10
Serve
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
