Jack Daniel’s Whiskey topped with Filbert’s local Ginger Beer and a squirt of fresh lime. The combination may be simple, but the taste is sublime.

Cocktail
- 1
- 2
Add whiskey
Measure and pour 2 oz Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey over the ice.
- 3
Add lime
Squeeze about 1/2 oz fresh lime juice (roughly half a small lime) directly into the glass. If you prefer a lighter lime presence, use 1/4 oz; for brighter citrus, use up to 3/4 oz.
- 4
Top with ginger beer
Slowly top the glass with 4 oz chilled Filbert's Ginger Beer (or other high-quality ginger beer). Pour gently over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and create a light layering effect.
- 5
Stir gently
Give the drink one or two gentle short stirs with a bar spoon to combine whiskey, lime juice, and ginger beer without dissipating too much fizz.
- 6
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim or a thin lime wheel floated on top. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
