Form can body
Roll the aluminum sheet into a cylindrical shape sized for a 250–355 ml can (standard Red Bull is 250 ml; this recipe uses 350 ml). Seam-weld or use a seaming adhesive to join the edge. Trim the cylinder to the correct height.
Attach bottom
Place the aluminum disc into the bottom end of the cylinder and mechanically seam it to create a pressure-resistant base. Ensure the seam is airtight. Install a thin rubber gasket if your seaming method requires it.
Prepare lid
Have a preformed aluminum lid with pull-tab ready. Do not attach the lid yet; it will be attached after filling and pressurizing.
Beverage (Red Bull–style energy drink)
Prepare syrup
In a sanitized mixing vessel, combine sucrose and glucose syrup with 100 ml of warm (not hot) carbonated water to help dissolve sugars. Stir until fully dissolved to make a concentrated syrup.
Add acids and flavor
Dissolve citric acid into the syrup, then add the natural/artificial flavoring and optional caramel color. Stir until homogeneous.
Incorporate active ingredients
Weigh and add taurine, caffeine, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 to the syrup. Mix thoroughly until fully dissolved or uniformly dispersed. Add preservative (sodium benzoate) if using and stir.
Adjust volume and carbonate
Transfer the syrup to a carbonation-capable vessel. Add the remaining carbonated water to reach the target beverage volume (about 350 ml). If using a carbonation system, carbonate to approximately 2.5–3 volumes of CO2 (typical for energy drinks). Chill the beverage to near 2–4°C before filling; cold helps maintain carbonation during filling.

Ensure all equipment, filling nozzles, cans, and lids are sanitized and handled with clean gloves to avoid contamination.

Fill cans
Using a counter-pressure or CO2-purged filling system, fill each preformed can to the appropriate fill level (leaving the correct headspace, typically ~6–10 mm). This prevents excessive foaming and CO2 loss.
Seat and seam lids
Place the preformed lids onto filled cans and seam them using a can seamer. Ensure a tight, leak-proof seam to maintain carbonation and shelf stability.
Inspect and test
Visually inspect seams and lids for defects. Perform random pressure and leak tests on sample cans, and check carbonation level and pH to ensure product meets specifications.

Apply the printed shrink sleeve or wrap label to each can and heat-shrink or wrap as required so that labeling is smooth and secure.
Packaging
Pack cans into cartons or multipacks. Store packed cans refrigerated or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
