Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine hung curd, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

2

Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

3

Preheat the Tandoor

Preheat the tandoor or grill to a high temperature, ideally around 200°C (400°F).

4

Cook the Chicken

Place the marinated chicken drumsticks on skewers or directly on the grill. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with melted butter until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.

5

Serve

Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
