Method
Bolognese Sauce Preparation
Cook the Meat
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Make the Sauce
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
Melt the Butter
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
Add Cheese
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.
Ricotta Layer Preparation
Mix Ricotta
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, dried basil, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Lasagna Assembly
Layer the Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a baking dish, spread a layer of Bolognese sauce, followed by three lasagna noodles. Spread half of the ricotta mixture, then a layer of Alfredo sauce.
Continue Layering
Repeat the layers: Bolognese, noodles, remaining ricotta, and Alfredo. Finish with a final layer of Bolognese and top with remaining Alfredo sauce.
Serve
Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes. Garnish with cracked black pepper before slicing and serving.
