Bolognese Sauce Preparation

1

Cook the Meat

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

2

Make the Sauce

Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

3

Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

4

Add Cheese

Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.

Ricotta Layer Preparation

5

Mix Ricotta

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, dried basil, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Lasagna Assembly

6

Layer the Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a baking dish, spread a layer of Bolognese sauce, followed by three lasagna noodles. Spread half of the ricotta mixture, then a layer of Alfredo sauce.

7

Continue Layering

Repeat the layers: Bolognese, noodles, remaining ricotta, and Alfredo. Finish with a final layer of Bolognese and top with remaining Alfredo sauce.

8

Bake the Lasagna

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

9

Serve

Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes. Garnish with cracked black pepper before slicing and serving.
