Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the double smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar on top of each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the tomato and onion. Wash and dry the lettuce.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the burger bun. Add lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheddar, bacon, tomato, onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of side.
