Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Wash, peel (if desired), and cut the potatoes into fry shapes. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a towel. Fry them in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Season the NY Strip Steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, adjusting time to preference.

  4. 4

    Make the Lemon Parsley Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, lemon juice, and chopped parsley until well combined. Season with a pinch of salt to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Place the cooked steak on a plate, top with the lemon parsley butter, and serve alongside the crispy fries.
