Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making them slightly larger than the brioche buns.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them and place a slice of havarti cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
- 3
Toast the Buns
While the burgers are cooking, cut the brioche buns in half and toast them on the griddle until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Burgers
On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, the cooked burger with melted havarti cheese, a few slices of onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 5
Serve
Serve the double griddle burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
