Pasta

Alfredo Sauce
Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the grill and let it rest before slicing it into strips.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Combine and Serve
- 4
Mix Everything Together
In a large mixing bowl or pot, combine the cooked fettuccine, Alfredo sauce, and grilled chicken strips. Toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
