Method

Item

1

Select a sealed commercially produced bottled water appropriate for the event (typically 500 ml or 16.9 fl oz bottle). Ensure the bottle is within its manufacturer seal and stored upright in a clean, cool place prior to service.

2

Record the bottle count for invoicing and place bottles in the service area or on a transport crate. Keep sealed until distribution to maintain sanitation.

3

When handing a bottle to a guest, present the bottle with the label facing the guest and remove any external packaging (if applicable). Do not open unless the guest requests an opened/served cup.

Optional Add-ons

4

Chilled Service with Ice

If chilled service is requested, place bottles in a cooler with ice. Use approximately 0.25 kg (about 0.5 lb) of ice per bottle for short-term chilling, more for longer events. Ensure melted water drains or is refreshed to avoid soggy labels.

5

Garnish

If a lemon slice is requested, place a single thin lemon slice on top of the unopened bottle cap or hand the slice on a small napkin alongside the bottle. Do not insert the slice into the bottle unless opened by the guest.

6

Delivery & Placement

For delivery, count bottles on arrival and at handoff. Place bottles in the requested location and confirm quantity with the client. Charge any agreed delivery or per-bottle service fee as specified on the catering price list.
