SMALL PLATES

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tater Tots

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

While the tater tots are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel to drain excess grease. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  3. 3

Prepare the Cheese and Green Onions

While the tater tots and bacon are cooking, shred the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Chop the green onions, separating the green and white parts.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Once the tater tots are done baking, remove them from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the hot tater tots, followed by the crumbled bacon and the white parts of the green onions. Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Drizzle sour cream over the loaded tater tots, and garnish with the green parts of the chopped green onions. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
