Salmon

Lemon Butter Pan Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Breadcrumb Topping

  1. 2

    Prepare the Breadcrumb Topping

In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, chopped oregano, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to combine.

  2. 3

    Add Topping to Salmon

Evenly spread the breadcrumb mixture over the seasoned salmon fillets.

Baking

  1. 4

    Bake the Salmon

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Lemon Butter Pan Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.

  2. 6

    Serve

Once the salmon is done baking, drizzle the lemon butter pan sauce over the salmon before serving.
