Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.
- 3
Cream Butter and Sugar
In a separate large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- 4
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Mixing in Add-ins
- 6
Incorporate Flavors
Fold in the chopped almonds, dried cranberries, chocolate chips, orange zest, and chopped pistachios until evenly distributed.
Baking
- 7
Shape the Dough
Divide the dough in half. Shape each half into a log about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide on the prepared baking sheet.
- 8
First Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the logs are golden brown and firm to the touch.

Cool and Slice
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Using a serrated knife, slice the logs diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- 10
Second Bake
Place the sliced biscotti back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until crisp and golden.
- 11
Cool Completely
Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
