Prepare the Bolognese Filling

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, red wine, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Prepare the Rice Mixture

In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Add the Arborio rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper into the rice mixture. Allow it to cool.
Assemble the Arancini

Once the rice mixture has cooled, take a small handful (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten it in your palm. Place a teaspoon of the Bolognese filling in the center, then fold the rice over to form a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
