Method
Prepare the Protein

For Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Season the Beef
Add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to the cooked beef. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the seasoning is well incorporated.

For Grilled Chicken
If using chicken breast, season with salt and pepper. Grill on medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Slice into strips.
Assemble the Tacos

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet or microwave, warm the flour tortillas until they are pliable, about 30 seconds.

Fill the Tacos
Place a portion of the cooked ground beef or grilled chicken in the center of each tortilla.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the protein.

Add Toppings
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa, as desired.
Serve

Fold the tortillas in half to enclose the filling, serve immediately, and enjoy your tacos!
