Pour 1 liter of filtered water into a glass or bottle. Ensure that the water is at a comfortable temperature, ideally chilled, and serve immediately.

For Sparkling Water
In a siphon or soda maker, combine 1 liter of filtered water with 0.5 liters of carbon dioxide. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for carbonating the water until you reach your preferred level of fizziness. Pour into a glass or bottle and serve immediately.
