Method

Beef Barbacoa Preparation

    Seasoning the Beef

    Cut the chuck roast into large chunks and season with salt and black pepper.

    In a slow cooker, add the seasoned beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, chili powder, bay leaves, and lime juice.

    Pour in the beef broth until the meat is just covered.

    Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and shreds easily.

    Once done, shred the beef using two forks and mix it back into the juices.

Cilantro Lime Rice Preparation

    Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
