Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash and slice the oranges, lemons, and limes. Cut them into thin slices, keeping the peels on. If using strawberries, hull and slice them. Combine all the sliced fruits in a large pitcher.

Mixing

  1. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In the pitcher with the sliced fruits, add the red wine, orange juice, brandy, and granulated sugar. Stir well to combine all ingredients, ensuring the sugar dissolves completely.

  2. 3

    Add Bubbles

Just before serving, add the soda water or lemon-lime soda to the mixture in the pitcher. This will add a refreshing fizz to your sangria.

  3. 4

    Infuse Flavor

Add the cinnamon stick to the pitcher for added flavor. Allow the sangria to sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator, or overnight for maximum flavor infusion.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Sangria

Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with additional slices of fruit if desired. Enjoy your refreshing Classic Red Oliver Sangria!
