Chicken Wings
Citrus Sauce
Method
Prepare Chicken Wings
Season the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the boneless chicken wings, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat the wings evenly with the seasoning.
Cook the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.
Prepare Citrus Sauce
Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir to mix well.
Thicken the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. Once the sauce mixture begins to simmer, add the cornstarch slurry to the saucepan while whisking continuously. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Combine and Serve
Toss Wings in Sauce
Once the chicken wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the citrus sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat.
Serve
Transfer the citrus wings to a serving platter and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious boneless chicken wings with citrus sauce!
