Prep & Glass
- 1
Rim the Glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of each serving glass. Spread 1 tsp Tajin on a small plate and dip the rim into the seasoning to coat. Set glasses aside in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Slice lime wheels or wedges for garnish and set aside.
Make the Sprite Base
- 3
In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups chilled Sprite and 1 cup chilled sparkling water (use only Sprite if you want full sweetness/effervescence). Stir gently to preserve carbonation.
- 4
Add 1/2 cup fresh lime juice and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice to the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate.
- 5
Add 2 tablespoons agave syrup (or simple syrup) and stir until dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness: add up to 1 tablespoon more if desired.
Add Heat & Flavor
- 6
If using, add 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger to the pitcher and stir gently.
- 7
- 8
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon Tajin into the pitcher and stir once — this adds a layered chile-lime note. Reserve the remaining teaspoon for a light sprinkle on top when serving.
Assemble & Serve
- 9
- 10
Pour the prepared Mexican Sprite over the ice, dividing evenly (roughly 1 cup per serving if making 6 servings from recipe quantities).
- 11
Garnish each glass with a lime wheel or wedge and a mint sprig if using. Lightly sprinkle a pinch of Tajin over the top of each drink for extra zing.
- 12
Serve immediately while fizzy. Stir gently before drinking if jalapeño or ginger were steeped to redistribute flavors.
