Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 3
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them in the skillet until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Burger
Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun. Top with lettuce, slices of heirloom tomato, and pickles. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- 5
Serve
Serve the burgers immediately with a side of fries.
