Prepare Grape Leaves
If using jarred grape leaves, rinse them under cold water to remove excess brine. If using fresh leaves, blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft.
- 4
Stuff the Leaves
Lay a grape leaf on a flat surface, vein side up. Place a spoonful of the filling at the base of the leaf, fold in the sides, and roll it up tightly. Repeat with remaining leaves and filling.

Cook the Stuffed Leaves
In a large pot, arrange the stuffed grape leaves seam side down. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and pour in the water or vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat for about 30-40 minutes.

Serve
Once cooked, let them cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature, garnished with extra lemon juice if desired.
