Method
Prepare the Ravioli
- 1
Prepare the Ravioli
If using frozen beef-stuffed ravioli, cook them according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside. If using fresh ravioli, skip this step.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
- 3
Combine Breading Ingredients
In a shallow bowl, mix the Italian breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Bread the Ravioli
- 4
Coat the Ravioli
Dip each cooked ravioli in the prepared batter, ensuring they are fully coated, then roll them in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly covered.
Fry the Ravioli
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Fry the Ravioli
Carefully place the breaded ravioli in the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 7
Drain the Ravioli
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried ravioli from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve
- 8
Serve with Marinara
Serve the toasted ravioli hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
