Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure the seasoning covers both sides evenly.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the marinated steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into strips about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 4

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps achieve a crispier fry.

  3. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain and pat dry the soaked potatoes, then fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt to taste. Keep warm until ready to serve.
