Orange Juice

Method

Lemonade

  1. 1

    Juicing the Lemons

Cut the lemons in half and use a citrus juicer or press to extract the juice into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Mixing the Lemonade

In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, granulated sugar, and water. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  3. 3

    Chilling and Serving

Add ice to the pitcher to chill the lemonade. Serve in glasses and enjoy!

Cranberry Juice

  1. 4

    Preparing the Cranberries

Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water to remove any debris.

  2. 5

    Cooking the Cranberries

In a pot, combine the cranberries and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst.

  3. 6

    Straining and Sweetening

Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing the berries to extract all juice. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice until dissolved.

  4. 7

    Chilling and Serving

Allow the juice to cool, then refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.

Orange Juice

  1. 8

    Juicing the Oranges

Cut the oranges in half and use a citrus juicer or press to extract the juice into a measuring cup. You should get about 1 to 1.5 cups of orange juice.

  2. 9

    Mixing the Juice

If desired, add sugar to the orange juice and stir until it dissolves. You can also add 1 cup of water to dilute the juice if preferred.

  3. 10

    Chilling and Serving

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve over ice.
