Method

Chicken Strips Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips approximately 1 inch wide. Pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set up the breading station

In three separate bowls, place flour mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and breadcrumbs in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Press breadcrumbs onto chicken to ensure coating adheres.

  4. 4

    Fry the chicken strips

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add breaded chicken strips in batches. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Buffalo Wing Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the buffalo sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and heat through for about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.

  2. 6

    Toss the chicken strips

Once the chicken strips are cooked, place them in a bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Optional Fries Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook the fries

While the chicken strips are frying, prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, either baking or frying. Season with salt to taste before serving.
