Sandwich Preparation

Prepare the Bread
Spread mayo generously on one side of each slice of white bread.

Assemble the Sandwich
Place one slice of bread mayo side down on a skillet. Layer with slices of cheddar cheese and top with another slice of bread, mayo side up.

Grill the Sandwich
Cook on medium heat until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip and grill the other side until the cheese melts and the bread is golden.
Fries Preparation

Cut the Potatoes
Wash and cut potatoes into thin fries.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pot or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain and Season
Remove fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
