Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the JTS brown bourbon, Steen's cane syrup, and bitters.

Stir
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture gently until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.

Garnish
Garnish with a slice of orange. Optionally, express the oils from the orange peel over the drink before adding it.
