Prepare Praline Bacon

Cook the Bacon
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the bacon slices on the sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until crispy.

Make Praline Mix
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and chopped pecans. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is bubbling. Remove from heat.

Coat the Bacon
Brush the baked bacon with the praline mixture and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. Remove and let cool, then chop into pieces.
Make Waffle Batter

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, mix warm milk (110°F or 43°C) with sugar and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.

Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until just combined.

Let the Batter Rise
Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Repeat until all batter is used.

Top each waffle with a strip of praline bacon, a dollop of whipped cream, and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
