Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Lay the smoked bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap.

  2. 2

    Mix the Topping

In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until combined. Fold in the toasted pecans.

  3. 3

    Coat the Bacon

Sprinkle the brown sugar and pecan mixture evenly over the bacon slices, making sure to cover each slice generously.

  4. 4

    Bake the Bacon

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the topping is caramelized. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

  5. 5

    Cool and Serve

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the praline bacon cool for a few minutes. Once cooled, break apart any pieces that may have stuck together and serve warm.
