Prepare the Ribs

Generously apply the BBQ rub all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Soak the hickory wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

Smoke the Ribs
Place the ribs in the smoker and add the soaked wood chips. Smoke the ribs for about 4-5 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
Make the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
