Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the green beans
Trim the ends of the fresh green beans and wash them thoroughly under cold water.
- 2
Blanch the green beans
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately plunge them into an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cool, drain again and set aside.
- 3
Brown the butter
In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Continue cooking, swirling the pan occasionally, until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Be careful not to burn it.
