Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Baguette
Slice the Leidenheimer baguette in half lengthwise. If desired, you can also slice it into smaller pieces for individual servings.
- 3
Toast the Baguette
Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Spread a generous amount of garlic butter on the cut side of the baguette. Place the baguette, butter side down, on the griddle. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. If desired, you can flip and grill the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes.
