Grilled Cheese Frittata

We didn't invent stuffed French toast, but we couldn't help but perfect it.

Stuffed French Toast

Pair one with your favorite wrap, salad, or gourmet grilled cheese.

Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Preheat Oven

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Prepare Egg Mixture

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and cubed bread until evenly coated with the egg mixture.

Add Cheese and Bread

In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the edges begin to set.

Cook the Frittata

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is puffed and golden brown.

Bake in Oven

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and set aside.

Prepare the Filling

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon until well combined.

Prepare the Egg Mixture

Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread, then top with another slice to form a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining slices.

Stuff the Bread

In a large skillet or griddle, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak briefly, then place in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Cook the French Toast

Remove the stuffed French toast from the skillet and serve warm with fresh berries and maple syrup drizzled on top.

Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Prepare the Bread

On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread cream cheese. Layer with sharp cheddar, Gruyère, fresh basil, tomato, and avocado. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side out.

Assemble the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Grill the Sandwich

Remove from heat, cut the sandwich in half, and serve immediately with your favorite wrap or salad.
