Method

Cooking Shrimp

  1. 1

    Prepare Shrimp

Rinse the Argentinian shrimp under cold running water to clean them. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 tsp of salt to the boiling water.

  3. 3

    Cook Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

  4. 4

    Drain and Chill

Remove the shrimp from the pot and drain them in a colander. Allow them to cool slightly.

Making Salsa Rosa

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tbsp of ketchup, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tsp of hot sauce.

  2. 6

    Season

Mix well until smooth. Taste and add salt as needed, adjusting according to preference.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate Shrimp

Arrange the warm shrimp on a serving platter.

  2. 8

    Add Salsa Rosa

Serve with the salsa rosa drizzled over the shrimp or on the side for dipping.

  3. 9

    Garnish

Finely chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle over the shrimp for garnish.
