Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Add Caesar Dressing
Pour 1 cup of Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce in the mixing bowl. Toss gently to coat the lettuce evenly with the dressing.
Assembly
- 3
Add Toppings
Sprinkle 1 cup of sunflower croutons over the dressed romaine lettuce. Then, grate or shave 0.5 cups of 24-month aged Parmigiano-Reggiano and add it on top of the salad.
- 4
Final Toss
Gently toss the salad once more to ensure all ingredients are well combined and evenly distributed. Be careful not to crush the croutons.
Serving
- 5
Serve the Salad
Transfer the Caesar salad to individual serving plates or bowls. Optionally, garnish with additional Parmigiano-Reggiano and croutons. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
