Preparing the Fish
- 1
Prepare the Fish
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well.
- 2
Marinate the Fish
Add the white fish fillets to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Fish
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated fish and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and break into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Salsa
- 4
Mix the Salsa Ingredients
In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, red onion, minced jalapeño, lime juice, salt, and chopped cilantro. Stir well to combine.
- 5
Let the Salsa Rest
Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Assembling the Tacos
- 6
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 7
Assemble the Tacos
Place some cooked fish pieces in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage and fresh cilantro.
- 8

Serve the tacos immediately with the prepared salsa on the side.
