Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the tapioca flour and salt. Mix well to ensure the salt is evenly distributed.

Mixing Wet Ingredients

3

Heat Milk and Oil

In a saucepan, combine the milk and vegetable oil. Heat over medium heat until just boiling, then remove from heat.

4

Add to Dry Mixture

Pour the hot milk and oil mixture into the bowl with the tapioca flour and salt. Stir until well combined.

5

Incorporate Eggs

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth.

Add Cheese

6

Mix in Cheese

Add the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to the dough. Mix until the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Baking

7

Shape the Dough

Using your hands, take small portions of the dough and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

8

Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the cheese balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.

9

Bake the Pão de Queijo

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown.

Serving

10

Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm!
