Fried Chicken and Toppings
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In one bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk. In another bowl, place the flour.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour to create a good coating.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts and fry for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 4
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken breasts with the Buffalo sauce until well coated.
- 5
Make Gorgonzola Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the Gorgonzola cheese and sour cream until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 6
Assemble the Dish
Serve the spicy Buffalo chicken on a plate with sliced tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and red onions on the side. Add the creamy Gorgonzola sauce for dipping.
