Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.

Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

Add Marinara Sauce
Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Serve
If using, sprinkle provolone cheese on top of the meatballs and let it melt before serving. Serve hot.
