Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Place the smoked ham on a rack in a roasting pan, cut side down.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and black pepper until well combined.
- 3
Apply the Glaze
Brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, ensuring it gets into the scored areas for better flavor.
- 4
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- 5
Check for Doneness
The ham is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). Allow it to rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
