Shrimp Preparation

    Boil the Shrimp

    In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning and the whole lemon (cut in half) to the boiling water.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Add the shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

    Chill the Shrimp

    Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

    Drain and Dry

    Drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

    Mix the Ingredients

    In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

    Adjust Flavor

    Add a dash of hot sauce to taste. Stir to combine and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

    Plate the Shrimp

    Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.

    Serve with Sauce

    Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
