Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Slice the Fish

Using a sharp knife, slice the Ahi Tuna and Atlantic Salmon into thin, even slices, about 0.5 cm thick. Make sure to slice against the grain for a more tender bite.

  2. 2

    Chill the Fish

Once sliced, place the fish on a plate and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to keep the fish fresh and chilled.

Serving

  1. 3

    Arrange the Sashimi

On a serving platter, arrange the slices of Ahi Tuna and Atlantic Salmon artfully. Alternate the slices for visual appeal.

  2. 4

    Add Accompaniments

In small bowls, serve soy sauce and wasabi on the side. Place pickled ginger on the platter for an added flavor contrast.

  3. 5

    Garnish

Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the arranged sashimi for added texture and flavor.
