Method

Preparation of Truffle Butter

  1. 1

    Make the Truffle Butter

In a medium bowl, combine the unsalted butter, truffle oil, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated. Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper, roll it into a log shape, and refrigerate until firm (about 30 minutes).

Grilling the Filet Mignon

  1. 2

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Remove the filet mignon steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 3

    Season the Steaks

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  3. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 5

    Grill the Steaks

Place the seasoned filet mignon steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the time based on your desired doneness.

  5. 6

    Rest the Steaks

Once grilled to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with Truffle Butter

Slice the chilled truffle butter into rounds and place a slice on each filet mignon steak just before serving. Enjoy your grilled filet mignon with a decadent touch of truffle flavor!
